ARM Developer Studio

Background:
We use the ARM based HPS and to run VHDL, compiled C++ and python code on Yocto Linux.
Due to changes of the company structure, we have lost track of the C++ build environment and need to re-establish this ability
Question:
We have started to install and license ARM Developer Studio. For licensing an ARM serial number is required. Using your dev-environment, where would I find this Serial number?

ARM Developer Studio is not something we have experience with and I'm not quite sure what the serial number is that is being referred. Is there any documentation or screenshots that can be shared?
Also, can we have more details on how ARM Developer Studio is being used? We have used the older Arm DS-5, which to my understanding has been superseded by ARM Developer Studio, but only a handful of times for some unique debugging purposes. We typically use gdb if we need to debug Linux applications running on the ARM.
