Used I2C pins on MitySOM
Added by Anthony Barker over 2 years ago
On the datasheet there is a note;
Note 4: I2C1 and I2C2 are used by devices on the module and therefore should not be muxed to other AM335x pins. The Power Management IC (PMIC) on the all MitySOM-335x modules utilize I2C1 at address 0x12 and I2C2 at address 0x2D.
Which pins are these devices actually connected too, I need extra IO so want to assign the pins that are not connected to the on board devices to GPIO.
Thanks.

Please see the Appendix for the Carrier Board Design Guide
Note that i2c2 does not come out to the edge connector so you only have to worry about the i2c1 (Pins 147/149) which cannot be used for gpio

Also for new designs, we recommend that you send us your custom baseboard design for review. We can make sure nothing simple has been missed before you do your preproduction build. That can be sent to info@criticallink.com or through your sales rep.
