MityArm 335x Minimum Voltage Operation
Added by Michael Schantzen over 11 years ago
According to the MityArm 335x Datasheet the minimum input voltage is 3.2VDC and the typical is 3.3VDC. Is the minimum operating voltage 3.2VDC correct? This does not leave me much margin in my 3.3V power supply design.

Hello Mr. Schantzen,
Very sorry for the delay in response.
We are looking into this spec, because at first glance I believe we may be able to lower it a bit for the module.
However, before we can alter the spec we will need to validate it.
Is this still an issue for you?

Mike,
I have made some changes to my design to try to limit the low end of the operating voltage to 3.2VDC but I don't feel comfortable with my test results to date which show the supply goint down to 3.1VDC under max load and input supply varation. I would like some validation on your lower operating limit for this reason and more. The other reason is that we have an voltage drop out circuit to interrupt the MityArm 3352 module when power is lost to secure any writes to the FLASH. We would like to validate the low end voltage operation for this reason also. We are using the 3352-GX-X27-RC module in our design.
Thanks,
Mike
